Camp Taconic, a sleepaway camp in Western Massachusetts, seeking talented and passionate film/video production students to join our team for summer 2026!
 
Each summer, we offer film/video production students an opportunity to join our team as videographers and counselors. We provide room and board, a competitive salary, travel reimbursement, and internship credit. In fact, last summer we provided over 40 internships to college students across the country. 
 
1. Videographer and Editor:
  • Capture the day-to-day magic of life at camp using video cameras, drones, and go-pros
  • Document camper performances and special events
  • Create engaging and fun marketing content for the camp website and social media platforms
  • Produce weekly recap videos to energize campers and staff for the next week
  • Premiere a brief, nostalgic documentary for the camp community to view on the last night of the summer 

2. Video Instructor:
  • Teach campers the fundamentals of video production
  • Guide them through the process of brainstorming ideas, filming, and editing
  • Provide hands-on experience with professional equipment
  • Nurture campers’ passion for storytelling and filmmaking
  • Live in a cabin with co-counselors and campers and help tend to daily needs
