Camp Taconic

Camp Taconic is home to approximately 500 campers ages 7 to 15 and close to 300 staff. We are located in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. With over 100 acres of woods, fields and lakefront, Taconic offers a true haven from city living and a real camping experience. The majority of our campers stay for the full 7 weeks and keep returning summer after summer. Many campers never leave and progress from camper to Leader-In-Training to Junior Counselor to Counselor.

Our staff comes from all over the United States as well as Canada and abroad. Our community thrives on the diverse backgrounds and cultures which our counselors bring. We are all bound by one common thread: our passion to work with children.

In order to accomplish the goals we set for our campers; building self-esteem, confidence as well as everlasting friendships; we rely on a staff of enthusiastic, motivated and skilled men and women who love the outdoors, enjoy working with children and have knowledge they want to share.
