About the Mississippi Mud Monsters
The Mississippi Mud Monsters are a professional baseball team entering our second season in Pearl. We believe the best baseball experiences feel personal, thoughtful, and memorable, especially in our premium spaces where fans celebrate big moments together.
Our suites, picnic areas, and premium sections are about more than seats and food. They are about hospitality, connection, and making people feel taken care of from the first pitch to the last out.
Preference will be given to candidates available for the full duration of the season.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for motivated college students who want hands-on experience creating exceptional guest experiences inside a professional sports environment.
As a Suite & Premium Experience Intern, you will be part of the team responsible for hosting, supporting, and elevating our premium guests on game days and special event nights. You will work closely with Premium Services, Food and Beverage, and Operations staff to help ensure every premium space feels welcoming, polished, and fun.
This is a seasonal internship that runs for the duration of the baseball season.
What You’ll Do
- Serve and assist guests in premium areas during games and special events to deliver an exceptional fan experience.
- Support daily setup and cleanup of all suite-level, picnic, and premium hospitality spaces.
- Work closely with the Food and Beverage team on food and beverage orders, preparation, and waste management.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking of pantry and service areas.
- Help maintain the appearance, organization, and cleanliness of all premium spaces.
- Learn pricing, menu options, and POS systems used in premium areas throughout the ballpark.
- Follow all team policies, procedures, and uniform requirements.
- Support special events and non-game day activities at the ballpark.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Premium Services Manager.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous food and beverage or guest service experience is preferred but not required.
- Undergraduate student, preferably a junior or senior.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship from start to finish.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball schedule.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong work ethic and team-first mindset.
- Passion for creating a great fan and guest experience.
The Details
- Seasonal internship based at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.
- Compensation is $750 per month.
- This role offers real-world experience in premium hospitality and guest services within a professional baseball operation.
