About the Mississippi Mud Monsters
The Mississippi Mud Monsters are a professional baseball team entering our second season in Pearl. Behind every great game night is a lot of work that fans never see.
Stadium Operations is the team that makes sure the ballpark is ready, safe, and running smoothly from the moment gates open to the last light turned off.
This role is about being in the middle of it all and learning how a professional ballpark actually works.
Preference will be given to candidates available for the full duration of the season.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on intern who wants real experience in stadium and event operations inside a professional sports environment.
As a Stadium Operations Intern, you will work closely with the Operations team to help prepare, maintain, and reset the ballpark for games and events. You will be part of the crew that keeps Trustmark Park running on game days and beyond.
This is a seasonal internship that runs approximately six months.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with stadium preparation before and after home games, including setup, breakdown, and overall readiness.
- Work alongside the Operations team to ensure all areas of the stadium are clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Support game day operations, including guest services, ushering, ticket scanning, and assistance in premium or group seating areas as needed.
- Help coordinate pregame, in-game, and postgame operational needs.
- Troubleshoot and assist with issues related to seating, signage, concessions, and general facility operations.
- Assist with inventory control of stadium supplies and equipment.
- Help maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational standards throughout the ballpark.
- Provide administrative support to the Stadium Operations team, including reports and basic data tracking.
- Assist with postgame breakdown and cleanup.
- Support special events and non-game day activities at the stadium.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Stadium Operations staff.

- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball schedule.
- Previous experience in sports, events, or stadium operations is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for baseball and how the behind-the-scenes work makes game day possible.
The Details
- Seasonal internship based at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.
- Duration is approximately six months.
- Compensation is a $750 biweekly stipend.
- This role offers hands-on experience in stadium operations within a professional baseball organization.
