About the Mississippi Mud Monsters
The Mississippi Mud Monsters are a professional baseball team entering our second season in Pearl. We believe baseball should look, feel, and sound fun. From the video board to social media to what fans experience throughout the ballpark, visuals play a huge role in how people connect with our team.
This role sits at the intersection of creativity, production, and game day presentation.
Preference will be given to candidates available for the full duration of the season.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for creative, motivated students who want real-world experience inside the day-to-day operation of a professional baseball team.
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will help bring Mud Monsters games to life visually. You will design graphics that fans actually see and remember and support live production elements that shape the in-ballpark experience.
This is a seasonal internship that runs for the duration of the baseball season.
What You’ll Do
- Design graphic projects for in-stadium promotions, social media, website, email, and more.
- Update and manage video board graphics on a daily basis.
- Assist in developing billboard creative and advertising campaigns.
- Support game day production staff to execute in-stadium visuals and presentation.
- Coordinate with off-site production partners to support video broadcast elements.
- Assist with pocket schedule distribution and promotional outreach.
- Support special events and non-game day activities at the ballpark.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
- Graphic design experience is required.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Video editing or motion graphics experience is preferred but not required.
- Undergraduate or graduate student, preferably junior level or above.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship from start to finish.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball schedule.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- High level of motivation and strong work ethic.
- Passion for creativity, sports, and working as part of a team.
The Details
- Seasonal internship based at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.
- Compensation is $750 per month.
- This role offers hands-on creative experience, live production exposure, and the chance to see your work in action in front of thousands of fans.
