About the Mississippi Mud Monsters
The Mississippi Mud Monsters are a professional baseball team entering our second season in Pearl. We believe baseball works best when it feels fun, creative, and connected to the people who follow it.
This role focuses on telling that story through content and promotions that fans actually see, feel, and engage with.
Preference will be given to candidates available for the full duration of the season.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for creative, motivated students who want hands-on experience in content creation, social media, and promotions inside a professional sports environment.
As a Content & Promotions Intern, you will help shape how the Mud Monsters show up online and around the ballpark. You will work closely with the marketing team to create content, support campaigns, and help bring energy and personality to game days and events.
This is a seasonal internship that runs for the duration of the baseball season.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with scheduling, publishing, and managing daily content across Mud Monsters social media channels.
- Create original social content, including photos, short videos, captions, and story-style posts.
- Help develop and execute social media campaigns tied to promotions, events, and game days.
- Monitor and engage with fans across social platforms in a timely and brand-appropriate way.
- Assist with tracking and reporting basic social media analytics and performance trends.
- Support email marketing efforts, including database management and campaign coordination.
- Assist with promotional planning and execution tied to games and special events.
- Support special events and non-game day activities at the ballpark.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship from start to finish.

The Details
- Seasonal internship based at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.
- Compensation is $750 per month.
- This role offers hands-on experience in content creation and promotions within a professional baseball organization.
