Content Creator / Videographer (2026/27 ABL Season - Perth Based)

Perth, Australia | Australian Baseball League (ABL)

The Perth Heat are seeking a passionate and creative Content Creator / Videographer to join our media team for the 2026/27 Australian Baseball League season.

This is an opportunity to spend an Australian summer embedded within one of the country’s most historic and successful professional baseball organisations, helping tell the story of elite baseball in Western Australia through short-form video, social media, and fan-focused digital content.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes modern sports content — someone who understands how to capture pride, atmosphere, emotion, community, and high-performance sport in a way that connects with audiences online.

While videography and editing are the primary focus of this role, we’re also looking for someone comfortable operating across broader social media and content responsibilities, including posting content, writing captions, creating Instagram Stories, basic photo editing and graphics, and understanding how content should differ across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X.

This role works closely with Ever Brands (our digital marketing agency leading strategy and content development), Barefoot Media Productions (our long-form production partners), the ABL media team, Perth Heat staff, interns, players, and coaches.

About the Perth Heat & Australian Baseball League

The Perth Heat compete in the Australian Baseball League (ABL), Australia’s premier professional baseball competition featuring domestic and international talent, including current and former MLB, MiLB, NCAA, and national team athletes.

The Perth Heat brand is built around legacy, pride, community, and high performance. We are focused on growing baseball in Western Australia while delivering a professional, meaningful, and engaging fan experience both online and at the ballpark.

Our content style balances high-performance sport with authentic storytelling showcasing elite athletes, grassroots connections, game day atmosphere, community impact, and the people who make the Heat special.
