Position Overview
The Coaching & Sports Operations Intern will support the delivery of youth soccer programs through a combination of on-field coaching assistance, event coordination, and administrative support. This role is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience for individuals seeking to build a career in coaching, sports management, or the broader sports industry.
Interns will work closely with coaching staff and program leadership to gain exposure to both the technical and operational aspects of a growing soccer organization.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching Support
- Assist lead coaches in the delivery of training sessions, clinics, and programs
- Support session setup, equipment management, and overall organization
- Help maintain a positive, structured, and engaging training environment
- Observe and apply age-appropriate coaching methods and best practices
Program & Event Operations
- Assist in the planning and execution of soccer programs, clinics, and events
- Support scheduling, logistics, and on-site coordination
- Contribute to ensuring sessions and events operate efficiently and professionally
- Assist with event-day operations, including setup, breakdown, and participant flow
Administrative Support
- Assist with internal communication, scheduling, and program organization
- Support coordination of coaching staff and program logistics
- Help manage equipment inventory and program materials
- Provide general administrative support as needed

Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Sports Management, Coaching, Business, or a related field (or recent graduate)
- Strong interest in soccer coaching and/or sports operations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
Additional Information
This is an unpaid internship intended to provide educational and professional development opportunities. Academic credit may be arranged where applicable. Interns will be expected to actively contribute across multiple areas of the organization and will not be limited to observational duties.
