Job Requirements
- Current Athletic Trainer Certification
- Current CPR And AED Certification And Community First Aid
- Previous Experience Working With Children Grades 7-12
Role & Responsibilities
- Consistently Monitor Athlete Safety
- Evaluate and Treat All Campers and Staff Who Are Potentially Injured
- Inform Camp Staff of All Injuries
- Document Athlete Injuries
Core Competencies
- Able to move and lift athletes, water coolers, medical equipment, etc. (at least 50 lbs.)
- Able to pay ridiculous attention to detail and document athlete injuries electronically
- Able to maintain the highest level of professionalism in dealings with campers, parents and staff
- Ability to respond immediately and work effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to take control, make sound decisions, and stay level headed in stressful and emergency situations
