The Tennis Coach is responsible for delivering structured daily instruction to Athletes in Training ages 8 to 17. After tennis programming concludes, you transition into your role as a Bunk Counselor, supervising and mentoring campers in residential life.

You are a coach on court. You are a leader in the cabin.

·      Plan and lead daily tennis instruction for beginner through advanced players

·      Teach stroke development, footwork, match strategy, and point play

·      Run competitive drills and structured match play

·      Provide direct, constructive feedback and skill progression plans

·      Create a disciplined, focused training environment

·      Promote sportsmanship, effort, and respect

·      Supervise campers in your assigned cabin during evenings and overnight

·      Support daily routines including meals, free time, and evening programs

·      Build strong, positive relationships with campers

·      Model integrity, accountability, and respect

·      Address behavior concerns calmly and professionally

·      Communicate with camp leadership regarding camper wellbeing

·      Collegiate playing experience preferred

·      Strong technical understanding of tennis fundamentals and match play

·      Experience working with youth preferred

·      Ability to lead with energy and consistency

·      Strong communication and teamwork skills

·      Willingness to live in a cabin and commit to the full summer, June 22nd  - August 8th 2026

·      Ability to coach outdoors for extended periods

·      Ability to remain active throughout a full camp day

·      Ability to lift and move equipment as needed

·      Daily access to hard and clay courts

·      Residential Maine camp setting in Belgrade Lakes

·      Housing and meals included
