We are looking for a tech-savvy, organized, and proactive, Registration Intern, to help manage the digital gateway to our Spring Middle School Circuits.
Role Overview:
The MADE Hoops Registration Intern is responsible for the "onboarding" experience of our teams. You will manage the flow of programs into our platform, ensuring that every team, coach, and player is correctly registered and ready for tip-off. This role is a blend of digital platform management, customer support, and project monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Learn the backend of the MADE Hoops website to manage registrations, update team statuses, and troubleshoot digital hurdles.
- Direct Outreach: Proactively reach out to AAU coaches and program directors to guide them through the spring circuit registration process.
- Stakeholder Support: Serve as a dedicated resource for parents, coaches, and directors, answering questions and resolving issues related to the MADE Hoops platform.
- Quality Control: Monitor team registrations in real-time to ensure all steps—including waivers and roster uploads—are followed correctly.
- Data Integrity: Ensure that the information entered into our system is accurate for scheduling and media purposes.
Requirements:
- Current Student: A college student looking to gain experience in sports technology and grassroots basketball operations.
- Technical Aptitude: A background in programming or coding is a major plus, as it will help you understand and navigate the logic of our platform’s backend.
- Athletic Experience: Previous experience working within a college athletics department or sports organizations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, patient, and professional support to users of varying technical abilities.
- Location: While remote, proximity to our circuit hubs is preferred: Manheim (PA), York (PA), Phoenix, Baltimore, or Los Angeles.
