Company Description
MADE Hoops is the premier grassroots basketball events organization in North America. Founded in 2014, our mission has always been Maximizing Athletes' Development and Exposure (MADE). We host 100+ boys and girls basketball events annually, including competitive camps for all ages, middle school and high school tournaments, and the top independent high school circuit in the country. We're proud to have countless McDonald's All-Americans, NCAA athletes, and NBA stars among our alumni. In addition to hosting events, MADE Hoops has a robust commercial division supported by merchandise, brand partnerships, housing, scouting, content and digital marketing business lines.

Program Overview
MADE Hoops is a DTC basketball apparel and events brand — online, in-person events, and a growing competitive circuit (MHC, Challenger). We move fast and wear a lot of hats. This isn't a "make coffee and file things" internship — you'll be in the room where product decisions get made, helping shape what the next generation of hoopers wears. You'll support the Director of Merchandising across data, assortment, design, and sourcing, with real exposure to how a raw concept becomes product on shelves and on court.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support SKU-level analysis: sell-through, size curves, velocity by channel (online vs. events)
  • Help maintain product data in Shopify — listings, tagging, inventory accuracy
  • Assist with assortment planning and buy sheets for upcoming seasons/events
  • Sit in on design reviews and product development conversations — see how a raw concept becomes a physical product
  • Support sourcing: vendor research, sample tracking, cost comparisons
  • Track competitor pricing and product trends in basketball/streetwear
  • Support pre/post-event merch prep: pack lists, inventory counts, returns processing
  • Pull and organize reporting for weekly merch reviews
  • General ad hoc support for the Director of Merchandising

Requirements: College student or recent graduate with passion for sports, excellent communication skills, self-motivated grinder with second-to-none work ethic.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
