MADE Hoops is the premier grassroots basketball events organization in North America. Founded in 2014, our mission has always been Maximizing Athletes’ Development and Exposure (MADE). We host 100+ boys and girls basketball events annually, including competitive camps for all ages, middle school and high school tournaments, and the top independent high school circuit in the country. We're proud to have countless McDonald's All-Americans, NCAA athletes, and NBA stars among our alumni. In addition to hosting events, MADE Hoops has a robust commercial division supported by merchandise, brand partnerships, housing, scouting, content and digital marketing business lines.

About the Role
We’re hiring a Klaviyo specialist (individual, not agency) to join our Marketing and Creative team for 15–20 hours per week.
You’ll own the execution of all Klaviyo-based deployments for our event and e-commerce campaigns, including:
  • Event announcements, SMS execution, and follow-up campaigns
  • E-commerce product launches, purchase flows, promos, and sales campaigns
  • You’ll collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Creative Lead on all creative and deployment approvals, supporting 120+ annual events and weekly product drops.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution

Build, test, schedule, and optimize all event and merchandise campaigns across email and SMS
Deploy approximately:
  • 10–15 email campaigns per week
  • 1–2 SMS campaigns per week
  • Share campaigns across key teams for review and approval before launch

Optimization & Performance
  • Conduct A/B testing on deliverability, flow logic, and performance
  • Identify and fix errors to improve campaign efficiency
  • Track performance using UTM parameters and expanded tracking methods
  • Maintain list hygiene, segmentation accuracy, and sunsetting protocols

Collaboration & Workflow
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Events, and Sales teams
  • Collaborate via Slack at least 2x per week
  • Coordinate timelines, creative assets, and approvals

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience
  • Proven success managing both e-commerce and event-based email/SMS campaigns
  • Strong understanding of: 
    • Email deliverability and creative performance
    • Segmentation and list management best practices
    • SMS platforms and popup tools
  • Experience building and optimizing complex automation flows
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for continuous improvement
  • Exceptional attention to detail and technical QA skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and effective in a remote work setting
  • Passion for sports and youth athletics is a plus
