Role Overview:
The Creative Content & Media Intern will join our dynamic media team to capture, create, and manage the digital storytelling for MADE Hoops events. Whether you are behind the camera, in the editing bay, designing graphics, or hosting on-screen, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing the next generation of basketball talent. This role is ideal for creative individuals passionate about basketball culture who are ready to produce high-quality content in a fast-paced live event environment.
Responsibilities (Depending on your specific skillset and focus, your day-to-day may include):
- Videography & Photography (On-Site):
- Capture high-energy gameplay, B-roll, and sidelines content during events to tell the story of the weekend.
- Video Editing:
- Create compelling highlight reels, social clips, and recap videos. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required for video roles.
- Social Hosting & Talent:
- Serve as an on-camera personality, conducting player interviews and engaging with the audience to bring the event atmosphere to life digitally.
- Graphic Design:
- Design eye-catching social media assets, thumbnails, and promotional materials.
- Media Management:
- Assist with file sorting, tagging, and organizing large volumes of raw footage and photo assets for the internal library.
- Community Management:
- Engage with our digital community, respond to comments/DMs, and foster conversation across social platforms.
- Analytics:
- Track and report on social media performance metrics to help optimize content strategy and reach.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (Strict requirement for video editing/videography applicants).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (specifically for media management).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy sports environment.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple creative tasks and strict deadlines.
- A passion for basketball, youth sports culture, and digital trends.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with the rest of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects).
- A strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating previous creative work.
- Experience with on-camera hosting or interviewing.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
