Koa Sports is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, whose mission is to Shape Kids' Lives Through Sports. Koa Sports is seeking a dedicated part-time coach to run afterschool program classes and coach multisport programming at camps over the calendar year. At Koa, we pride ourselves on creating a positive environment for our athletes and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead, encourage, and engage kids in various activities, sports, and specialized activities including but not limited to street hockey, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, basketball, wiffle-ball, PE games, and more.
- Demonstrate use of sport recreational equipment and teach participants the principles, techniques, and safety procedures for each activity.
- Build and maintain open communication with athletes and Koa camp staff
Experience, Abilities, and Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or caring for children.
- Experience playing or coaching various sports/PE games.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Must have own transportation for the duration of employment
Work Schedule:
- Must be available Monday and Tuesday between (1:00pm - 4:00pm). With the availability to sub Wednesday - Friday same time if needed.
- Available to work weekday hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm throughout the school year.
Compensation: $20 per hour
