Position Description: Koa Sports is currently seeking dedicated leaders to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Flag Football Summer Camps. Locations include Rockville and Olney, MD.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with Koa’s Camp Director and Camp Location Director to prepare for each week of camp. Including: communication and organizing staff, ensuring equipment and Koa flag vehicle will be on-site for the week of camp, day to day planning of camp schedule and inclement weather plan, assisting with all parent communication.
- Oversee daily camp operations and ensure implementation of camp procedures including but not limited to: check-in/pick-up, all activities and games, rules for ensuring campers remain engaged and safe, all onsite parent communication, handle any and all camp situations that arise including camper issues and staff/coach problems
- Oversee up to 8 coaches, 2 volunteers, and 60 campers a week
- Submit daily and weekly camp reports to Camp Director
- Track camp inventory items and submit orders with appropriate lead time. Keep onsite camp binders and files organized and up to date.
Qualification/Requirements:
- At least 3 years of child development/mentoring/teaching/coaching experience required.
- Flag Football Coaching and/or Playing Experience required.
- Reliable transportation and cell phone required.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Must embody Koa's 4 Core Values: Positive, Fun, Dedicated, Team First.
- Great problem solver who identifies issues early and troubleshoots immediately.
When: June - August 2026 | Number of Weeks: 4 - 7
Hours: 8:15 am - 3:30 pm | Monday to Friday
Estimated Salary Range: $800 - $900 per week with a bonus opportunity
