This position is responsible for all aspects of Koa’s Baseball Department, including but not limited to Travel Baseball 11U-22U, In House Select League, Summer Camp, Indoor Training Facility Management- Classes and Private Lessons.  Which includes; parent communication, managing, scheduling and training all part time coaching staff, booking umpires, writing practice/game/training schedules, responsive to rainouts and rescheduling games, selling out/growing the league, and overseeing the end of season player evaluations. 
 
The job is located at Koa Sports- 9200 Corporate Blvd Suite 320 Rockville, MD 20850 and 1800 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20850 as well as traveling to local fields around the Beltway as well as traveling inside the United States for Tournaments.  
 
This full time job is an exempt position and requires working both nights and weekends. Full time employee benefits: health, dental and vision insurance; 403B retirement with company match and wellness plan. 
 
Responsibilities & Duties:
●      Master Koa’s systems, including but not limited to:
o   Shiftplanning/Humanity, Upper Hand, Team Snap, Google Suite (gmail, docs, sheets), Wordpress, Rain out line app, Ring App
●      Sell all Baseball Camps, Clinics, Training, Teams, and Leagues
●      Able to fill in and coach a BABL or Travel team at anytime
●      Interface with all Baseball teams, clinics, and camps
●      Responsible for all end of the season BABL and Travel player evaluations
●      Oversee $1,000,000+ baseball budget
●      Manage 2 full time baseball managers and 20+ part time coaches
●      Attend all Koa’s baseball tryouts and all star games
●      Run and setup parent meetings prior to the Fall and Spring season
●      Oversee all parent communication, including overseeing the “BABL Rundown” while in season
●      Train and manage all baseball coaches
●      Write the Spring and Fall BABL game and practice schedules
●      Oversee year round classes and private lessons inside of Koa’s State of the Art Training Facility
●      Responsible for ordering uniforms, end of season prizes, player pack items, etc. 
●      Book umpires for all BABL games and handling all rescheduling of games
Qualifications & Skills:
●      Played at least high school baseball (college or pro experience is preferred)
●      Working knowledge of baseball technology, including Blast Motion, HitTrax, Rapsodo 2.0, and Track Man
●      Proficient use of a radar gun and pocket radar
●      Proficient communication, verbal and electronic
●      Excellent problem solver
●      Experience managing staff
●      Can lift equipment that is at least 40 pounds
●      General understanding on how to maintain a baseball field, including but not limited to, raking, tarping, and mound care (tamping, fill dirt, etc…)
●      Can complete 20 continuous push-ups in 30 seconds or less
