JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Apex Events Intern, you will assist the team with the daily media and marketing related tasks. This is a part-time position reporting to our office in West Chester, PA during the week and on-site at events on the weekends.

Timeline: May 20th - July 17th, 2026
Hours: 200+ hours

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Provide on-site photography and videography for tournaments.
● Flip content in real time to be posted for social media.
● Properly store all event photos/videos post-event on storage platform.
● Draft and edit posts (text, images, short videos) for Instagram and other platforms.
● Create engaging visuals and graphics for campaigns.
● Assist in email marketing that includes campaign creation & reporting.
● Assist with video production, from brainstorming to editing.
● Help develop and implement digital marketing or social media strategies.
● Track and analyze social media engagement, metrics, and campaign success.
● Research industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior.

Interns will work at specific events for 3 or 4 day periods as listed below. The times listed in this job description are subject to change slightly based on the schedule and/or weather conditions. Interns must be able to commit to all listed events.

● SUMMER OPENER - JUNE 6-7 @ UNITED SPORTS TRAINING CENTER
● BEACH BASH - JUNE 13-14 @ NCINO SPORTS PARK (TRAVEL)
● COASTAL CLASSIC - JUNE 13-14 @ NORTH WORCHESTER PARK (TRAVEL)
● YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS - JUNE 20-21 @ GERMANTOWN ACADEMY
● ELITE CHAMPIONSHIPS - JUNE 20-21 @ PROVING GROUNDS
● INDY INVITE - JUNE 20-21 @ THE PLEX (TRAVEL)
● THE GRIND - JULY 10-12 @ GREATER WEST CHESTER AREA
● APEX SHOWCASE SUMMIT (APEX 60 AND YOUTH GAMES) - JULY 13-16 @

QUALIFICATIONS:
● Photography, videography, & social media management experience.
● Possess a roll up the sleeves attitude and ability to perform loading, unloading and setup tasks at events
● Strong self-initiative and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
● Active listening skills, calm demeanor, strong ability to follow-up, passion to see project through to completion
● Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve event goals.
● Consistent punctuality and professional presentation
● Ownership mentality for position-related responsibilities and company as a whole
● Willing and able to lift heavy equipment (60 lbs. or more)
● Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule during the week and on weekends. Some travel is required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CLEARANCES:
● Minimum of 2 Years of photography, videography & social media management experience
● Federal Criminal History Record Information Check
● PA State Police Criminal Record Checks
● PA Child Abuse History Clearances
● Professional Grad Camera
● Professional Grade Editing Software
● Personal Computer
