Our counselors are the heart of camp. You’ll lead, inspire, support, and play a major role in shaping a camper’s summer experience.
Required Commitment
To be employed as a Camp Counselor at Tamarack Day Camp, you must be available for all 39 days of camp:
June 29th – August 21st
Monday through Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
No weekends
If you are unable to commit to the entire camp season, this position will not be the right fit.
Position Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage a group of campers throughout the camp day
- Participate in and help facilitate sports, creative activities, swimming, special events, and theme days
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor to campers
- Help maintain a fun, safe, and inclusive camp environment
- Work collaboratively with fellow counselors and camp leadership

Qualifications
- High school juniors or seniors, college students, or educators
