We're looking for an energetic and creative Are you passionate about sports, events, and creating unforgettable experiences? We're looking for a creative, energetic, and motivated Event Marketing Intern to join our team for the Fall Semester. This hands-on internship provides the opportunity to work alongside our Marketing and Operations teams, helping bring leagues, tournaments, and special events to life through marketing campaigns, event promotions, and community engagement.
As an Event Marketing Intern, you'll gain real-world experience planning and executing event marketing initiatives, supporting on-site activations, creating engaging promotional content, and helping increase participation in our leagues and events. You'll play an important role in building excitement around our programs while connecting with participants, community members, and partners.
This internship offers valuable exposure to sports marketing, event promotion, experiential marketing, and community outreach. By the end of the semester, you'll have practical experience in event planning, brand activation, and marketing strategy that will help prepare you for a career in sports marketing, event management, or community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns for leagues, tournaments, and special events.
- Support event promotions through grassroots outreach.
- Help coordinate on-site marketing activations and promotional experiences at leagues and community events.
- Capture photos and videos to showcase the player experience and promote future programming.
- Assist with creating promotional materials, signage, and event marketing assets.
- Engage with participants at events by answering questions, promoting upcoming leagues, and enhancing the overall player experience.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations teams to support campaigns and special projects.
- Help organize event logistics, marketing materials, and promotional giveaways.
- Track marketing initiatives and assist with post-event reporting and performance analysis.
- Learn and apply best practices in sports marketing, event promotion, and community engagement within a fast-paced sports environment.
What You'll Gain

Requirements
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
- Must live in the DC area.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Internship dates run from September - January.
