ROLE SUMMARY
We’re looking for a high-energy, outgoing, and organized Part-Time Events Lead to help bring our events  and activations to life! This person will play a key role in creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes and growing Volo’s brand exposure. As the on-site point of contact, you’ll lead our part-time staff, coordinate with the full-time Events & Activations Team, and engage directly with players, partners, and sponsors to make sure everyone has an incredible experience in learning about Volo.

Volo is looking for someone who can:
  • Serve as the on-site lead during events, managing and motivating the part-time events team.
  • Bring the energy and enthusiasm—actively engage with potential new players, participants, and guests to create a fun and inclusive environment.
  • Use knowledge and training on Volo products to encourage new player engagement
  • Coordinate with the full-time Events Team on logistics, timelines, and overall event execution. Understand the setup, activation details and venue guidelines.
  • Assist with the run of show, ensuring all program elements happen on time and as planned.
  • Act as the main contact for Volo Marketing, partners, sponsors, and vendors during event days.
  • Oversee event set-up, check-in, activations, and breakdown alongside staff.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, positivity, and adaptability throughout the event.
  • Provide post-event feedback and insights to help improve future experiences.


Your expected skill set & experience: 
  • Passion for Sports & Community: A love for recreational sports and a desire to build inclusive, fun experiences for people of all backgrounds.
  • Prior experience in event coordination, team leadership, or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong people skills—friendly, approachable, and great at engaging groups.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working weekends, evenings, and holidays as event schedules require.
  • Must be 21+ and able to lift up to 30 lbs (event materials, signage, etc.).
  • High School Diploma /GED Equivalency.

Working Conditions:
  • Hours: Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
  • Location: On-site at local sports facilities, fields, or community centers for in-person events. Some remote tasks (e.g., social media management, outreach) can be done virtually.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to different venues or events within the community will be required.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds.
