Job Description
Hosts bring the social to social sports. You will be responsible for making players feel welcoming, organizing playing areas, assisting the refs, and more. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income.

Hosts bring the social to social sports. You will be responsible for making players feel welcoming, organizing playing areas, assisting the refs, and more. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income.
Field Host responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Cultivate a fun, social, fair, and safe environment for members of the Volo community
- Build relationships with players, referees, co-hosts, and potential venue staff
- Set up, clean, take down, and put away equipment
- Use host app to check in players as needed
- Serve as a Volo representative on-site, communicating with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.
- Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-site selling
- Execute fundraising activities to support kids programs
- Must be available at least 1 day per week on Monday through Friday from 5:30pm-11pm or Saturday through Sunday from 8:15am-10pm at least eight weeks at a time (season length)
Must-Haves:
- Interest in sports and social activities
- Social, outgoing personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Works well in a team atmosphere
- Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
- Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly
- Working phone with data
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends
- Proficient customer service skills
- High School Diploma /GED Equivalency
