Location: New York City
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, 4 days per week
Compensation: $18/hour (starting)
Start Date: As early as possible; no later than February 1
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities & League Operations Intern to support day-to-day operations across our Social leagues. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and ensuring spaces and equipment are well-maintained and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize sports equipment across venues and storage locations
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and upkeep of league venues and event spaces
- Track, organize, and manage inventory, including sports equipment and apparel (e.g., t-shirts)
- Keep storage units clean, orderly, and properly labeled
- Identify equipment needs, damages, or shortages and report them promptly
- Support general facilities and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing equipment
- Interest in sports, facilities management, or operations is a plus
- Must be available to work afternoons/early evenings (3:00–7:00 PM), four days per week
Job Description
- Assist with league audits & evaluations
- Provide facility and field maintenance as needed; suggest venue improvements
- Increase brand awareness and registration numbers through community events and marketing
- Inventory and upkeep of sports equipment and shirts
- Assist with data entry, game reports, customer service inquiries and scheduling
- Help inventory our T-shirts
- Help out at Leagues during the week.
