About the Role
The Sports Operations Intern plays a key role in supporting league operations, on‑site execution, and participant experience across Volo’s Baltimore sports programs. This internship is ideal for students or early‑career professionals interested in sports management, recreation, event operations, or customer experience. You’ll gain hands‑on experience running leagues, supporting staff, managing equipment, and ensuring players have an exceptional experience every night.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with on‑site league operations, including field setup, equipment management, check‑ins, and game flow.
- Support League Coordinators and Managers with nightly logistics, rule enforcement, and participant communication.
- Help maintain a positive, welcoming environment for all players and teams.
Contribute to weekly operational tasks, including inventory tracking, schedule updates, and facility coordination.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and helping ensure a smooth participant experience.
- Assist with special events, playoffs, and theme nights as needed.
- Learn and apply Volo’s operational standards, safety protocols, and communication expectations.

- Ability to work evenings and weekends (league hours).
