What’s This Internship All About?
As the Sports Marketing Intern, you will be working directly with our creative and driven team assisting with day-to-day marketing operations, including social media management, content creation, and brand partnerships. As the Sports Marketing Intern, training will include an overview of social media strategy, content creation, brand partnerships, and digital marketing fundamentals. Upon completion of the internship, it is our hope that the knowledge learned is one that provides great value and expertise towards future career endeavors in the sports industry, including the opportunity to be permanently hired from this position.

Job Description
Sports Operations
  • This internship is an in-person opportunity based in Miami. Ideally, applicants should be located within approximately 30 minutes of Jose Marti Park.
  • Help own a social media page posts, stories, content collection and creation
  • Execute fundraising activities to support kids programs 
  • Make players meet & feel welcome

Qualifications
Ideal candidate
  • We are looking for candidates pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field. Ideally, applicants will be seniors, though all graduation years are welcome to apply.
  • Strong verbal skills (outgoing) to assist in launching partnerships (ie apartment, gym, local sponsor outreach)
  • Self-directed leader who takes initiative and a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving;  demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve
  • Strong copy writing skills to assist in maximizing our content's impact on SEO (ie website auditing & gist writing)
  • Comfortable with all types of clients and decision makers; able to put the customer first in order to best solve their problems
  • Works well in a team atmosphere, and requires low supervision/direction
  • Punctual and professional, but embraces a "work hard, play hard" attitude
