Position Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join our team and help progress our current marketing efforts, with a strong focus on expanding our grassroots outreach campaigns. We are looking for a brand-savvy individual to help develop new marketing strategies, and boost our local brand visibility to drive new revenue. This person will be responsible for creating and executing various campaigns, as well as updating current projects already in place. The right candidate has experience as a strong content creator, as well as a strong history of lead generation and sponsorship execution.
Responsibilities
- Email creation & local digital sales execution
- Building and maintaining grassroots initiatives
- Local tabling events/on-site marketing opportunities
- Execute on-field sales and marketing initiatives
- Local Apartments/Gyms/Partnerships
- Seeking out 3rd party marketing opportunities
- Content Creation
- Collecting sales content
- Lead Generation
- Perform website audits
- Sponsorship execution both digital and grassroots
- Adult sports leagues and memberships
- Fundraising for our youth nonprofit organization
- Work with Product Director for anything that requires marshaling Part-Time staff
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience (Coordinator)
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms
- Demonstrate knowledge of the local market
- Have an understanding of new trends and opportunities therein
- Be resourceful & creative
- Graphic design, photography and/or video production skills a plus
- Travel as needed to site locations for photos and content ideas
- Must love the Volo brand and the product!
