Job Description
SUMMARY
In this role, you will serve as a member of the Volo Kids Foundation team. The incoming accountant will prioritize business-wide success by maintaining financial operations, supporting payroll and monthly reporting processes, and leading execution of our annual financial statement audit and tax filings. This individual will work 10-15 hours per week.
Volo Kids Financial Operations
- Utilize financial & accounting platforms, including Quickbooks, Stripe, and Bill.com
- Process & Monitor AP / AR
- Process payroll & reporting for part-time and full-time employees and outside contractors
- Maintain compliance with City / State / Federal legal & business registrations
Volo Kids Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare monthly reconciliation and reporting documents
- Facilitate annual financial audit and 990 tax filings in collaboration with Foundation leadership and an outside audit firm
- Oversee and prepare income statements
- Provide any needed financial paperwork for grant and funding efforts, including expenditure reports and month/year end close documentation
