Volo Kids Foundation provides free organized sports programs to kids in Baltimore, Boston, Denver, LA, Miami, New York, New Jersey, Philly, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, DC. Our programs remove barriers to athletic participation such as gender, skill, and financial resources while bringing different communities together.
Founded and headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland in 2015, Volo Kids is a community based organization working to use the power of play to build communities of active, resilient, and confident kids. Since its inception, Volo Kids has engaged over 90,000 kids nationwide. Our sports programs are powered by thousands of volunteers across the country.

Job Duties:
Organizational Marketing Strategy
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to help develop and guide national and local marketing strategies, providing weekly updates on progress toward key goals.
- Work directly with the Senior Marketing Manager to coordinate local player and volunteer outreach efforts and support grassroots marketing initiatives.
- This person will perform periodic website audits and updates.
Social Media
- Lead the national social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Manage the social media content calendar, oversee account strategy, and create and execute posts across platforms.
- Support communication with the content team and volunteer photographers in each city.
Design:
- Organize and manage the library of photo and video assets to ensure content is easily accessible and properly cataloged.
- Assist with the execution of graphic design requests to support promotions for sports programs and marketing campaigns.
Communication
- Support the development of email templates, seasonal marketing assets,mother promotional materials, and the execution of seasonal communications.
Ideal Candidate
- Currently pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Programs and Canva
- Proficient in video editing and creation
- Knowledge and experiences on Wordpress
- Holds strong communication stills, detailed oriented, and has the ability to multitask
- Self-directed leader who takes initiative and a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving, and demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve
