What is This Internship All About?
This is a great opportunity for a goal-oriented, creative individual who enjoys marketing and communications and can
think both creatively and strategically to drive organizational growth.
We have expanded our programs immensely and we are seeking a talented National Marketing Intern to join the Volo
Kids marketing team! This intern will work directly with the National Marketing Sr. Manager to support and take the
lead on various projects which will include the following:
Social Media
- Assist creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels
- Analyze social media performance metrics
Digital Communications and Grassroots
- Support on digital communications creation and tracking
- Develop comprehensive local grassroots plans to recruit players, volunteers, donors, etc., based off of seasonal data.
- Increase Volo Kids’ audience reach by developing innovative outreach strategies, and create share kits to support message sharing
Visual Media
- Support in organizing our photo assets
- Support in various graphic creation
Administrative support
- Customer service
- Organizational support
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
- Availability 5-10 hours weekly.
- Experience managing and creating content for social media platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency and branding.
