Program Operations Manager – RCX Sports Foundation 

The RCX Sports Foundation works to develop, promote, and implement diversity and inclusion in youth sports as the non-profit arm of RCX Sports. The foundation focuses on expanding youth sports opportunities so all children can experience athletics in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. As the Program Operations Manager for the RCX Sports Foundation you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the RCX Sports Foundation, ensuring that it runs efficiently. This position requires a passion for youth sports, strong leadership skills, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement. The ideal candidate for this role is a performance driven leader with advanced knowledge of sports, foundation, or non-profit events and proven experience leading successful events and programs.   
 
What you’ll do: 
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director of the RCX Sports Foundation to lead the development and implementation of organizational goals objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead the development and implementation of all new RCXF programs and initiatives. 
  • Oversee operations of Grandview Field in Dothan, AL including event rentals, facility maintenance, and RCX Foundation event staffing for hosted events.
  • Coordinate the evaluation of RCXF programs and services, monitoring program outcomes, assessing impact, and developing annual reports. 
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline operations, including software for fundraising, donor management, and grant making. 
  • Assist in preparing and submitting annual stewardship reports to foundations, corporations, and individual donors. 
  • Ensure the RCXF operates in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, including adherence to tax-exempt status regulations, compliance with fundraising laws, and maintaining transparency and accountability in all operations. 
  • Serve as a project manager for large-scale RCXF programs and events (i.e. fundraising events, grant programs, etc.). 
  • Manage the RCXF participation grant program, including both organizational and individual grants. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
What you’ll bring: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, marketing, non-profit management, or related field from an accredited university (required).  
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sports, foundation, or with oversight of revenue generating activities and financial results through program management, events, and grant administration (required). 
  • At least 3 years of experience in overseeing youth sports programs, leagues, events, or other youth sports experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including youth, parents, schools, organizations, community partners, professional leagues, and corporate sponsors.  
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to non-profits and general understanding of organizations relevant to youth sports.  
  • Passion for supporting underserved youth groups and communities, ideally through the power of sports. 

More about the role: 
  • Travel: Up to 30% of the time  
  • Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday with some weekends required. 
  • Compensation Structure: This position is a Full-Time Salaried position, paid semi-monthly and is eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus based on employee and Foundation performance.  
  • Location: Roswell, GA (RCX Sports Office) Hybrid - This position will regularly work at least 3 days per week on-site at the RCX Sports office in Roswell, GA and may occasionally work from home. 
  • Reports to: Managing Director – RCX Sports Foundation  
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None currently – This position may oversee direct reports in the future.
