We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Marketing Director to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive online growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and a proven track record of implementing successful digital campaigns. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for staying abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.  
 
 What you'll do:
  • Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the company's objectives and target audience, with a heavy focus on league and participation growth.  
  • Paid Advertising Campaigns: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of conversion and brand paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels, including PPC, display advertising, social media advertising, and programmatic advertising.  
  • Website Management & SEO: Oversee the management and optimization of company websites to ensure a seamless user experience, optimize conversion rates, and drive online engagement. Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website updates, enhancements, and new features. Drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings through effective SEO strategies and tactics.  
  • Email Marketing: Collaborate with email marketing team to develop campaigns that nurture leads, drive conversions, and retain customers. Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.  
  • Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with social media team to develop strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and participation.  
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across all digital marketing channels. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders to drive decision-making and optimize campaign performance.  
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.  
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.  
 
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field.  
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing with 3 or more years of experience in a leadership role focused on digital marketing campaigns within the sports industry  
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns that drive engagement and growth.  
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make data-driven decisions.  
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and performance management. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

More about the role:
  • Travel Expectations: 25% of the time or more 
  • Department: Marketing 
  • Reports to: Vice President of Marketing 
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have full-time direct reports 
  • Work Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday with occasional nights and weekends  
  • Compensation Structure: Salaried, FLSA-Exempt (paid semi-monthly), this position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on employee and company performance 
  • Location: Hybrid – Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI – This position will regularly work at least 3 days per week on-site at the RCX Sports office in Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI (candidate preference) and may occasionally work from home.
