Position Summary: The Wrestling Operations Manager supports the daily operations of IMG Academy’s wrestling program. This role is responsible for coordinating logistics, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth execution of training, travel, and events. The position serves as a key liaison between coaches, student-athletes, families, and internal departments to support an unrivaled experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily program operations including scheduling, travel logistics, and event coordination.
- Manage communication with student-athletes, families, coaches, and staff to ensure timely updates and alignment.
- Coordinate and track compliance documentation, rosters, and program records
- Assist with recruiting processes, including communication with prospective student-athletes and families.
- Support budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management for wrestling equipment and supplies.
- Facilitate onboarding of new athletes and families into the wrestling program.
- Collaborate with academic, residential, and athletic staff to support student-athlete success.
- Ensure program activities are conducted in alignment with IMG Academy standards, policies, and values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in athletics operations, team administration, or event management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/athletics management systems.
- Experience working with student-athletes, coaches, and families preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Must be able to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to move across campus facilities including gyms, fields, and turf.
