The Transportation Driver, Tam provides safe, reliable, and courteous transportation around IMG Academy’s 400 acre campus for student-athletes, staff, visitors, and parents. This role prioritizes safety, excellent customer service, and compliance with all safety regulations 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate trams and related vehicles in accordance with IMG Academy policies and procedures
• Direct and assist passengers to ensure safe boarding, travel, and disembarking, while maintaining orderly traffic conditions
• Provide accurate information about IMG Academy services, facilities, and local surroundings
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required trip reports
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with student-athletes, parents, guests and staff
• Follow policies regarding vehicle safety, passenger discipline, and emergency procedures
• Comply with all applicable State and Federal DOT regulations
• Complete routine documentation, including Vehicle Inspection Reports, driver logs, and incident reports
• Use communication and navigation equipment, including cell phones, 2-way radios, and GPS devices
• Maintain cleanliness of tram vehicles, both interior and exterior
• Adhere to safety regulations, and all company policies, procedures, and business ethics standards
• Perform other duties as assigned 

 Qualifications: 

• Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record
• Some experience operating trams, guest shuttles or vans is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret road signs and follow State and Federal DOT regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
• Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and collaboration skills 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 25lbs
• Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed
