The Transportation Chaperone, Summer 2024 will assistwith transportation to and from the airport, while chaperoning and greeting arriving students and guests at the airport.
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for operatingand maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and excellent guest service.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and prepare trip reports as appropriate.
Operate all vehicles in a safe manner
Excellent customer service skills
Heavy interaction with students, guestand visitors
Serves as a positive role model while providing transportation services
Following up on company policies in regards todiscipline, school bus & vehicle safety and handling emergency situations.
Familiar and able to comply withall applicable State and Federal DOT regulations
Ability to use equipment such as cell phones, 2-way radios and GPS devices
Maintain current license and DOT physical
Keep vehicle clean as needed, including interior/exterior cleaning and vacuuming
Flexibility to operatevans, trams and buses as directed and operations dictate
Must be flexible to operateany vehicle, clean vehicles and perform other tasks as the needs of the Transportation department require.
During down times, and as directed by management, will performother taskssuch as cleaning vehicles, performing related errands, light office work and assistingwith tasks in other departments outside of Transportation.
Report to work daily in company uniform
Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or be willing/able to obtain certification if required by IMG.
Adhering to all company policies, proceduresand business ethic codes

Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including vans, tramsand buses
Ability to read and interpret road signs in English
Ability to read, understand and comply withthe rules and regulations of the State and Federal DOT.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establishand maintain professional relationships with all students, parents, guestsand staff.
Ability to prepare concise records and reports
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
CPR and First Aid certification
CDL driver’s license a plus
Highly organizedwith the ability to juggle multiple projects
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interfacewith a variety of audiences
Ability to multi taskin a fast-paced organization
A superior work ethic
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to lift, move, pushand pull equipment or boxes in excess of40lbs.
Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
