Position Summary: This role will lead talent acquisition efforts for several functions across IMG Academy while directly managing a small team of Talent Acquisition Specialists. It will also serve as the primary lead for our summer hiring and programming, overseeing high-volume seasonal recruitment and intern experiences. The role balances strategic consulting with hiring managers and hands-on execution of full-cycle hiring to support a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and support full-cycle hiring needs across designated business areas, partnering closely with hiring managers to define talent needs, pipeline strategies, and efficient hiring processes
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, setting clear goals and monitoring performance
- Oversee seasonal hiring and programming (e.g., summer staffing, intern programs), ensuring timely planning, execution, and alignment with broader People Operations efforts
- Drive a positive candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and thoughtful touchpoints
- Improve and scale hiring operations through systems, tools, reporting, and process optimization
- Partner with hiring managers to conduct job intake and profile sessions, provide recruitment training, and ensure structured, inclusive interviews
- Maintain accurate reporting on open roles, hiring metrics, and talent market insights to inform decision-making
- Build relationships with external partners, vendors, and local networks to strengthen diverse talent pipelines
- Represent IMG Academy at local hiring events, career fairs, and networking opportunities
- Support compliance and ethical hiring practices in alignment with company policies and employment law
- Coordinate and support key logistics when needed (e.g., interviews, travel, onboarding handoffs)
- Other People Operations projects and duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 5+ years of applicable experience, preferably in Talent Acquisition/People Operations leadership
- Experience managing or mentoring recruiting professionals and/or initiatives
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Professional discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
- Customer-service orientation with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree related field
- Florida notary
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
