Position Summary:
As the Senior UX Designer, Marketing, you will set and maintain design standards for all web user experiences across IMG Academy and its products. You will own the creation, evolution, and enforcement of unified UX, UI, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and excellence across all platforms.
You will work closely with the engineering team to translate designs into scalable, high-performance experiences, leveraging Figma, AI-assisted design tools, and emerging technologies to optimize workflows. In addition to your own design work, you will mentor other digital designers, host cross-team coaching sessions, and provide creative direction on their projects—driving a shared design language across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership & Standards: Establish and maintain design systems, component libraries, and UX/UI guidelines for all IMG Academy web properties.
- Ensure brand consistency and high-quality experiences across all products, touchpoints, and audiences.
- Define accessibility, responsiveness, and performance standards for all digital experiences.
- Collaboration & Execution: Partner with engineering to align designs with technical feasibility, optimizing workflows with AI-assisted design and development tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, marketers, and other stakeholders to align creative solutions with business objectives and user needs.
- Oversee and review design deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for multiple platforms and devices.
- Mentorship & Cross-Team Enablement: Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to other digital designers across the company.
- Host cross-team workshops, critiques, and development sessions to improve skills, foster collaboration, and ensure design alignment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on digital design best practices and trends.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Explore and introduce AI design tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and testing.
- Conduct regular UX audits to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Stay informed about emerging design technologies, accessibility regulations, and industry trends.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 7–10 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field.
- Expertise in Figma design systems and prototyping, and familiarity with AI-based design tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Uizard, Framer AI).
- Proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, accessible, responsive websites and applications.
- Strong understanding of UX research methods, design systems, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills across diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in Design, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in sports or performance-oriented industries.
- Bilingual abilities.
