Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Digital Producer + CMS Manager to create, publish, and

maintain editorial and site content focused on delivering life-changing experiences to

anyone, anywhere, who believes in the power of sport as a platform for life. This role is

focused on execution and delivery, owning day-to-day media content tracking, creation,

publishing workflows, QA, and CMS hygiene to ensure content is accurate, organized, and

shipped on time. Content in this role is treated as editorial and informational, not as

instructional design, curriculum, or formal learning programs.

 

Position Responsibilities:

CMS ownership

  • Manage day-to-day content updates, publishing, QA, and maintenance across our various CMS systems.
  • Build and follow repeatable publishing workflows (intake → build → QA → publish → updates).
  • Builds clear Standard Operating Procedures/checklists for organization and process.
  • Ensure content is accurate, formatted correctly, and aligned to CMS standards (templates, modules, metadata, etc.).
  • Maintain CMS hygiene: naming conventions, taxonomy, tagging, categories, and version control.

Production Coordination

  • Oversee publishing and organization of short-form video content, including topic planning, thumbnails, metadata, and performance tracking; partner with the video editor to manage end-to-end delivery.
  • Oversee publishing and organization of articles: structure, formatting, categorization, and ongoing updates. Working with writer on delivery.
  • Maintain clean content libraries so teams can find, reuse, and report on content easily.
  • Assess the performance of all content pieces using data from the various CMS sources.

Content operations + project tracking

  • Work with manager on operational tracking for content timelines, deadlines, dependencies, and status updates.
  • Build/maintain boards, views, and dashboards in Task Management tools to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Run “content ops traffic control” with manager: intake, prioritization support, follow-ups, and clear handoffs.
  • Keep production/publishing calendars accurate and proactively flag risks or blockers.

Content creation

  • Produce podcast, video shorts, articles end-to-end, including outlines, interview questions, show notes, titles, descriptions, and supporting written assets.
  • Adapt content across formats (e.g., turn podcasts or videos into blog posts, articles, clips, and CMS-ready content).
  • Collaborate with internal partners and subject-matter experts to gather inputs, conduct interviews, and shape publishable content.
  • Revise and update existing articles, blogs, and podcast assets to maintain accuracy, relevance, and performance over time.
  • Ensure all written and produced content is publication-ready, properly structured, and optimized for its intended platform.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Skills)

  • Content Writer (outlining, drafting, editing; short-form video scripts/captions).
  • Basic graphic design capability (photo editing, layout and composition).
  • Producer mindset/experience (coordinating reviews, approvals, deliverables).
  • SEO familiarity (keyword research, writing optimized titles/descriptions).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5-8 years demonstrated experience in content/editorial management.
  • Strong operational rigor: high standards, detailed-oriented logical thinker, and strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable coordinating multiple moving parts, stakeholders, and deadlines without getting bogged down.
  • Clear communicator who can keep things moving without creating chaos and can see around corners
  • Bachelor's degree in media, Journalism, Film/TV/Video Production, English (or related field).
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, able to translate complex subjects into actionable insight with recommendations.
  • Analytical, curious, and deeply performance driven.
  • Passionate about using data to support student-athlete success.
