As Strategic Account Director Sports you will:
  • Utilize your network to identify and engage with high-potential leads and key decision-makers
  • Extend our customer base within the top 1st football leagues in europe and their teams
  • Build relationships with potential new clients to understand their specific needs and desires, and defining tailored solution approaches
  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, managing various stakeholders including User Buyers, Technical Buyers, Economic Buyers, and CX teams
  • Negotiate and close contracts with new customers to drive business growth
  • Promote cross-departmental collaboration by working closely with Customer Experience, Development, and Legal to ensure internal alignment and project success
What you will need to succeed in this role:
  • 5+ years experience within the football industry or 10+ years in other sports, sports-ticketing
  • A successfully completed university degree, ideally with a focus on Business Administration or a related field
  • A strong affinity for the sports event industry, preferably with professional experience in this segment
  • Proven track record in end-to-end sales of complex, high-touch products, ideally within the B2B software (SaaS) sector
  • Strong customer orientation paired with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • High levels of enthusiasm and excellent communication skills
  • Business-fluent level proficiency in English
