We provide an end-to-end software platform for the live ticketing industry, managing thousands of sports, theater, and live music event tickets on behalf of artists, promotors, teams, venues and professional resellers. Victory Live’s comprehensive offerings include an established B2B marketplace along with both a full-service and an automated SaaS platform to manage all elements of the ticket sales lifecycle, from ingestion to sales fulfillment.


THE POSITION
Victory Live is seeking a Lead IT Engineer to take ownership of our IT infrastructure and operations.
This role will oversee the company’s hardware, software, and systems across both Mac and Windows environments. Key responsibilities include managing identity and access solutions such as Okta and JumpCloud, domain management, and Google Workspace (Gmail)—ensuring all systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

The Lead IT Engineer will support both remote and on-site employees, while also being responsible for office IT operations such as hardware provisioning, networking, and day-to-day user support. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a strong IT posture and drive continuous improvement. This role also includes providing technical leadership and mentorship to other IT team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing across the team.

This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership skills and will be 100% on-site in our Atlanta office.


THE PLAN
 1. IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage and support the organization’s IT systems across both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networking infrastructure.
  • Ensure systems are up-to-date with security patches and software updates.
 2. Identity and Access Management (Okta):
  • Administer Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensuring secure access to applications and systems.
  • Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control across the organization.
  • Integrate new applications and services with Okta to streamline authentication processes.
 3. Google Workspace (Gmail) Management:
  • Administer Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.), ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, email security, and data retention policies within Google Workspace.
  • Provide user support and training for Google Workspace applications.
 4. Domain and Network Management:
  • Oversee domain management, including DNS, domain registration, SSL certificates, and network configurations for IT software products
  • Ensure efficient management of internal and external domain-related services.
 5. Office IT Management:
  • Manage office IT operations, including setup and maintenance of workstations, printers, telecommunication systems, and other office equipment.
  • Oversee network infrastructure for office locations, ensuring secure and stable connections for all users.
  • Work with vendors to source, install, and maintain IT hardware and software for office environments.
 6. Helpdesk and User Support:
  • Provide technical support for on-site and remote employees, resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain an IT ticketing system, tracking and resolving issues related to hardware, software, networking, and accounts.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on IT policies and best practices.
 7. Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure that IT systems meet security and compliance standards, particularly regarding data privacy, encryption, and user access controls.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols, including antivirus and endpoint protection, to prevent cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure best practices are followed for data protection and risk management.
 8. Vendor Management and Budgeting:
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective procurement and timely service delivery.
  • Assist in preparing and managing the IT budget, including expenses for hardware, software, and services.
  • Monitor contracts and licenses, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with vendor agreements.

 Requirements
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Okta for identity and access management, SSO, and MFA.
  • Expertise in managing Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), particularly Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.
  • Expertise in managing Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with domain management (DNS, SSL certificates) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Understanding of office IT equipment, networking infrastructure, and basic system administration.
   2. Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT support and systems management.
  • Experience managing both on-site and remote IT environments.
  • Experience provisioning both Windows and MacOS machines.
  • Proven experience managing user accounts, security settings, and workflows in Google Workspace and Okta.
  • Experience in office IT setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Jump Cloud is a plus
   3. Leadership and Management:
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage small IT teams or vendors.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee IT initiatives and ensure they align with business goals.
  • Proven ability to manage IT support operations, ensuring that user issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
   4. Communication Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
   Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
