POSITION SCOPE:  The Director of Data Analytics will play a pivotal role in data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving reporting and analytics frameworks that align with business objectives. The director will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, develop dashboards and design reports, and ensure the accuracy of data analytics processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day reporting and analytic needs of the organization by ensuring data accuracy, building visualizations, designing reports, and dashboards.
  • Use data insights to create a narrative around partners' ticket markets.
  • Serve as an internal consultant on the use of data and analytics. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and identify data-driven opportunities.
  • Utilize internal and external data and systems to establish an understanding of market behaviors and information. 
  • Execute ad-hoc projects, analyses, special assignments, and related tasks as needed or requested. 
  • Collaborate and maintain effective communication with external consultants to ensure project alignment, timely deliverables, and successful outcomes.
  • Consistently communicate market observations to partners.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and news.

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 
  • 6+ years of data analytics experience; sports and entertainment industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of and interest in sports and live entertainment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Maintains a positive, success-oriented attitude while upholding integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically with strong motivation and drive.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in leading conversations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High proficiency with Excel, including ability to build complex spreadsheet models, run pivots, macros, v-lookups and other advanced functions.
  • Strong quantitative, financial modeling skills, including exposure to SQL and relational databases; demonstrated ability to design and implement statistical models in R and/or Python preferred but not required.
  • Ability to deliver both a detail-oriented analyst and executive-level strategy.
  • High proficiency in creating data visualizations with least one BI reporting platform (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Ability to work full-time, in an office environment, on the company’s premises.
  • Ability to function in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other basic office equipment.
  •  Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers in real-time conversations in English.
  • Ability to access and interpret written information in real-time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for the purposes of moving office supplies or company documents.
  • Ability to maneuver within and around office environment, industry conference environments, etc. .
  • Ability to attend industry conferences with our team as needed.
