Scouting Heroes is an in-venue live data collection agency that utilizes proprietary technology to be first-in-class in terms of both latency and accuracy.  Our expansive network throughout the United States allows for a greater depth of coverage for football and basketball for stadiums and arenas around the country.  Our multi-layered approach includes an in-venue scouting team supported by a centrally located quality control team.  This quality control team ensures the highest quality of accuracy within our data.  Our emphasis on real-time, low-latency data allows our partners to unlock new levels of fan-engagement opportunities and in-play gaming.  As we continue to expand into other sports and diversify our offerings, Quality Control will continue to play a pivotal role ensuring we provide the most accurate data to each of our partners.  Scouting Heroes HQ is in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Independent Contractor position. Contractorship begins with training in July 2024, and runs through June 2025. Hours available are dependent upon the United States sports calendar. 15-20 hours per week during football & basketball season scheduled based on availability. MUST be available for weekend shifts. All hours worked are in Raleigh office located in central Raleigh. This is NOT a remote position. 

JOB PURPOSE

Monitor live football & basketball data in our centralized office while providing real-time support for our in-venue scouting team.  This role is critical to ensuring the highest-level of accuracy, speed and integrity of our data inputs.  As a quality control analyst, you will provide feedback for scout performance.  Effective communication and troubleshooting skills are needed to maximize performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be present. You are passionate about being focused and accountable for your assigned scouts as their primary contact and support.  
  • Be organized. Organization and training are critical to prepare for fast-paced, high intensity situations. You are constantly wanting to improve and understand the importance of training. 
  • Be honest. Integrity is critical to the overall collection of sports data. 
  • Provide feedback. Collect detailed information during assigned games to evaluate performance & help scouts improve.
