We’re looking for a thoughtful and driven UX Research Intern to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside senior researchers, gain exposure to the entire research process, and make a tangible impact on our products. The ideal candidate brings curiosity, a strong sense of independence and initiative, as well as a foundational understanding of basic UX Research methods and principles. This is a highly collaborative internship where you’ll get to partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, design) and learn the practical application of UXR in product development.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with the PrizePicks UX Research team and learn by both observing/shadowing other UXRs and participating in end-to-end research studies
- Collaborate with Senior UX Researchers to identify research opportunities and assist with the creation of study materials (e.g., research plans, discussion guides)
- Conduct hands-on research: Gain practical experience with core UX research methods, including usability testing and in-depth interviewing
- Analyze and synthesize data: Help organize, analyze, and interpret qualitative data to identify key themes and insights.
- Communicate findings: Assist in preparing and presenting research findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to various cross-functional partners, enhancing the user experience
What you have:
- Basic familiarity with UX Research processes and qualitative methods (e.g., usability testing)
- Strong willingness to learn and challenge yourself: An enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards acquiring new skills and knowledge in UX Research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset and an enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt, with the ability to accept and incorporate feedback from mentors
What makes you stand out:
- Coursework or a degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or similar
- A portfolio demonstrating your academic and/or personal research projects
- Familiarity (or a passion!) with sports, daily fantasy, sports betting, etc.

The typical salary range for this position is $35.00 to $38.00. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges.
