We seek an inquisitive, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analyst experienced in Retention Marketing. This data-centric role is vital for building and maintaining analytics tools and workflows. Candidates who can flex their SQL skill set and analyze essential data to guide decision-making will stand out the most. A passion for solving problems around segmentation strategy, retention spend optimization, and guiding profitable growth for the business is essential for success. What you’ll do:

• Own the analytics workstream of the reinvestment budget including optimizing spend, projecting costs, and guiding strategy to improve customer lifetime value
• Analyze customer behavior, retention trends, and lifecycle metrics to identify key drivers of engagement and churn
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and models to track retention performance, reinvestment, and program ROI
• Partner with marketing, product, and analytics teams to design and implement targeted retention initiatives
• Conduct cohort, segmentation, and behavioral analyses to uncover actionable insights
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to inform strategic decisions

What you have:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and customer segmentation.
• Proficiency in SQL and one or more analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
• Understanding of retention metrics, customer lifecycle, and CRM strategies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on turning data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, marketing strategy, or a related role, preferably in a subscription or consumer-focused business.
