We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HRIS Analyst to lead the optimization, performance enhancement of our HR technologies and our onboarding process. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of progressive HRIS experience, demonstrating advanced expertise in system management, complex data analysis, and leading process improvement initiatives. In this pivotal role, your duties will include architecting and implementing advanced HR system solutions, driving data-driven strategic recommendations, and mentoring junior team members. The Senior HRIS Analyst is a subject matter expert responsible for the comprehensive management, maintenance, and strategic development of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). They will also partner in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all new hires (I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, etc). This role ensures the highest level of data integrity, generates sophisticated reports and predictive analytics, and provides expert-level support to HR professionals and employees regarding complex HRIS functionalities.
The Senior HRIS Analyst will be instrumental in spearheading major system upgrades, complex data migrations, and designing and implementing significant process improvements related to HR technology. They will proactively collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to ensure seamless data integration, optimal system functionality, and adherence to advanced data privacy regulations. Exceptional analytical, technical, project leadership, and communication skills are paramount for success in this role.
What you’ll do:
- Strategic System Management:
- Lead the daily operation and advanced maintenance of the HRIS, ensuring optimal system functionality, data accuracy, and scalability.
- Strategically coordinate with IT and HR leadership to plan and execute significant system updates, upgrades, and modifications.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex system issues, providing expert technical support and guidance to HR staff and end-users.
- Advanced Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Design and conduct rigorous audits to ensure the highest level of data integrity and compliance with complex company policies and evolving regulations.
- Develop, generate, and present sophisticated reports and predictive analytics to provide actionable insights for strategic HR initiatives and executive decision-making.
- Architect and maintain comprehensive dashboards to track key HR metrics, identify emerging trends, and forecast future HR needs.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Ensure new hires are meeting compliance standards by verifying work authorization documentation
- Managing pre-arrival preparations, orientation, and ongoing support to ensure they become productive and integrated members of the team
- Plan and coordinate new employee orientation reviewing company culture, policies and values
- Process Optimization and Innovation:
- Proactively identify opportunities to significantly streamline complex HR processes, enhance system functionality, and drive innovation through technology.
- Collaborate closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and govern advanced process improvements and automation solutions.
- Develop and deliver advanced training programs and documentation to empower HR staff on sophisticated system use and best practices.
- HRIS Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage large-scale HRIS projects from conception to completion, including new system implementations, major upgrades, and complex integrations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, detailed timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet strategic objectives.
- Provide regular, high-level communication on project status and key updates to executive stakeholders, proactively addressing and mitigating any issues or concerns.
- Compliance and Security Governance:
- Ensure robust HRIS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, industry best practices, and stringent company policies.
- Implement and enforce advanced security protocols to safeguard sensitive employee data, adhering to strict data privacy standards.
- Conduct regular, in-depth system audits to ensure continuous compliance and maintain a superior level of data security.
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience as an HRIS Analyst, with a demonstrable track record of leadership and strategic impact.
- Expert-level understanding of HR processes, data management principles, and HR technology landscapes.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Strong project management skills, with proven experience leading significant HRIS projects from initiation to successful completion.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance, data security standards, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
