Our Security team works in Engineering on the Infrastructure team to further develop our security practices, write and implement security policies, advise on best practices while implementing tooling to protect the company and our remarkable customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Continuously monitoring public vulnerability disclosures to identify new vulnerabilities impacting the environment across endpoints and infrastructure and triage as needed.
  • Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Conduct new and recurring risk assessments against third-party vendors, including reviewing updated risk artifacts and attestations. 
  • Educating staff on information security through training and awareness programs
  • Ensure the integrity, confidentiality and accessibility of data and other sensitive digital assets
  • Assist with building out operational workflows and rituals including maturing and responding to alerts and creating runbooks
  • Secure the company’s digital assets through monitoring and tooling to prevent data loss, protect against insider threats and attacks.

What you have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of risk assessments tools, technologies and methods
  • Understanding of latest security principles, technique and protocols
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills 
  • Ability to define risks both in technical and non-technical terms with business-relevant language.
  • Technical must haves:
    • BS in Comp Science, Cybersecurity, InfoSec or related field
    • 1-3 years experience in engineering
    • Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices
    • Strong understanding of risk management, threat analysis, and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, and US Data Privacy)
    • Compliance tooling (Vanta, SecureFrame, Asana, etc)
    • Vulnerability Scanning tooling familiarity
    • Vendor assessment and risk management tooling
    • Data Privacy tooling

Where you’ll live:

  • While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote

The typical salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges. The compensation info you see on our job postings gives you an idea of the starting pay range for the position. Your actual pay within that range will depend on your specific work location, as well as your skills, experience, and education. Your
