Spring 2026 Product Analytics & Business Intelligence Intern
Ready to use data to change the game? Join us at PrizePicks and help millions of sports fans get a faster, smarter product. This paid internship in Atlanta (Hybrid) is your chance to choose a track, Product Analytics or Business Intelligence, and do work that directly impacts a real-world product. You'll move beyond dashboards to drive strategy, inform decisions, and help shape the future of sports.
What You'll Do
You'll choose your adventure, focusing on either how we build our product or how we run our business.
Track A: Product Analytics
This track is for the data detectives who love to understand user behavior. You’ll:
- Optimize the User Journey: Analyze onboarding, promos, and payment funnels to find opportunities for improvement and drive conversion wins.
- Run Smart Experiments: Design and evaluate A/B/A/Bn tests, writing clear reports to guide our next moves.
- Track Key Metrics: Build dashboards to monitor adoption, retention, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure Data Integrity: Triage data anomalies and partner with our Engineering team to fix instrumentation issues.
Track B: Business Intelligence
This track is for the strategic thinkers who use data to inform business-wide decisions. You’ll:
- Inform Strategic Decisions: Work on high-level analytics projects that influence key business areas.
- Build a Single Source of Truth: Help define and maintain a lightweight metric dictionary to ensure data consistency.
- Develop Core Reports: Build essential dashboards and reports to support business needs.
- Support Stakeholders: Answer ad-hoc data questions with clear, reliable information.
What You'll Bring
We’re looking for a sharp, driven student ready to contribute. You're a great fit if you have:
- Proven SQL Skills: You’re comfortable with complex joins, window functions, and aggregations.
- A Foundation in Stats: You understand the basics of hypotheses, variance, and confidence intervals. For the Product Analytics track, you should also be familiar with experimentation concepts.
- Analysis Tools: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and a strong command of Excel/Google Sheets.
- A Project to Show Off: Something you can walk us through, whether it’s from a class, a personal GitHub project, or a Kaggle competition.
- Excellent Communication: You can explain complex concepts clearly and work well within a team. Plus, you have a passion for sports!
What You'll Learn
This internship is designed for serious growth. You’ll get a masterclass in:
- Data-Driven Decision Making: How product teams use more than just dashboards to make critical trade-offs.
- Trustworthy Experimentation: How to run reliable experiments or build the models that make them possible.
- Meaningful Metrics: How to design metrics that are actually useful and keep them accurate over time.
- Industry Dynamics: How the daily fantasy sports landscape, including regulations, shapes product and data strategy.
What we are looking for
- Student Profile: This internship is for rising juniors, Master's students, or recent graduates, within 1 semester of graduation, who are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Majors: We’re open to a wide range of majors like Statistics, Data Science, Economics, and Computer Science, but the most important thing is your passion for data and a project to show for it.
