We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member who is willing to go above and beyond to better the company from a transaction integrity perspective. Your input will be valuable and you will play critical roles in our Fraud Operations decision making process. Your work will include data extraction and analysis that will help better our fraud department using an analytical approach. This position is for potential team members with direct fraud and/or payment securities experience.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the fraud front line of PrizePicks by communicating directly with customers through emails and chats
  • Monitor and analyze daily alerting, flag and escalate any potential fraud activities and take necessary immediate actions to mitigate losses.
  • Review Customer behavior trends for potential fraud.
  • Monitor and escalate suspicious activities associated with money laundering (including, but not limited to: tax evasion, fraud, and terrorist financing).
  • Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations, including KYC requirements and gaming regulations.
  • Assist management and internal teams with ad hoc requests and additional fraud reviews as needed.
  • Help share fraud insights and trends to all areas of the business including product, marketing, and operations
  • Ensuring the integrity of our games and contests by monitoring activities that may violate our terms of service.
  • Fraud Detection and Control: Intermediate: Demonstrates solid knowledge and ability, and can apply the competency, with minimal or no guidance, in the full range of typical situations. Would require guidance to handle novel or more complex situations.
  • Information Gathering and Processing: Follows prescribed information gathering procedures.

What you have:

  • Primary goal as a Fraud Operations Analyst is to align their work with the department missions statement: Building trust by optimizing the relationship between transactional integrity and member experience.
  • Developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies: You will be responsible for developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies to minimize the risk of fraudulent activity on the platform. This could include analyzing user data, identifying potential fraud patterns, and collaborating with other teams to implement fraud prevention measures.
  • Conducting fraud investigations: You will be responsible for investigating and resolving instances of fraud on the platform. This could involve analyzing transaction data, conducting interviews with users, and working with law enforcement if necessary.
  • Monitoring user behavior: You will need to monitor user behavior on the platform to identify any unusual activity that could be indicative of fraud. This could involve analyzing user transactions, reviewing user accounts, and monitoring user activity on the platform.
  • Maintaining fraud prevention tools and systems: You will be responsible for maintaining and updating fraud prevention tools and systems to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date. This could include working with IT teams to implement new fraud prevention tools, testing new systems and processes, and providing training to other team members on how to use these tools.
  • Collaborating with other teams: You will need to work closely with other teams at PrizePicks, such as customer support, compliance, and product development, to ensure that fraud prevention measures are integrated into all aspects of the platform.
