The Analytics Team is responsible for building and maintaining analytics tools and workflows to facilitate data across the PrizePicks business, touching all business groups including Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Operations and Strategy. At the core of these operations is data. As the Data Program Manager, you will oversee the administration and delivery of a portfolio of industry-leading data products that drive our business forward. You will align the data roadmap with the near and far term strategic goals of the business to deliver large and impactful enterprise Data products. You will understand and champion the portfolio of Data products, metrics, analysis & insights across Customer Insights, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Marketing Analytics & Data Engineering. The Data Program Manager will instill a stakeholder obsessed mindset across the teams and will use a metric/KPI driven approach to roadmap decisions aided by establishing, tracking and reporting on product performance.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with analytics leadership, business leadership and external consumers of data to design & deliver on the Data Product Roadmap, ensuring alignment with the broader company goals and shaping the vision for data products at PrizePicks
  • Manage a central repository of key metrics, data products, insights & analysis acting as the domain expert on the entire portfolio of Data Products
  • Champion new and existing data products across the business
  • Design systems and procedures to facilitate the day to day operations of the Data team, working with Data leadership to implement and maintain best operational practices
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage data, making data products more compelling and workflows more efficient within the team and across the organization
  • Work horizontally across Data sub-teams to proactively support and empower teams to identify milestones, handle dependencies and risks, track deliverables, and overcome roadblocks 
  • Provide coordination of priorities and resources across the team to ensure strategic initiatives are prioritized and delivered.
  • Collaborate with analytics, engineering, marketing, and operational functions to ensure successful product deliveries and launches 
  • Ensure transparency, alignment & communication on the roadmap across the team, bridging the gap between analytics teams and external stakeholders, unblocking teams where necessary
  • Monitor performance and ensure that the data product roadmap delivers measurable and meaningful business and stakeholder impacts in a timely manner with an ability to deliver both strategic and tactical initiatives 
  • First Point of Contact for business stakeholders on all initiatives related to Data
  • Be the eyes, ears and comms channel for Data across the business
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business and work with the business leadership & analytics leadership to facilitate the prioritization of work to ensure we are collectively building the right thing

What you have: 

  • Minimum 5 years of managing business change and a minimum of two years’ experience of agile methodology and tools
  • Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative data products 
  • Strong experience implementing agile methodologies
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality 
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables 
  • Ability to collaborate and work collaboratively within senior leaders across the organization 
  • Demonstrated success cross-functionally influencing teams without formal authority 
  • Experience creating roadmaps, product strategy and understanding how to rally teams behind - and execute upon a thorough long-term plan 
  • Strong quantitative skills 
  • Excellent critical thinking skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure, at pace to tight deadlines 
  • Understanding how Data is used to drive decision making and realize value and action. 
  • A commercial understanding of our business and what drives our KPIs
  • High level of practical experience of delivering change in an agile environment using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently.
  • Aligns own behavior and actions to organization values, vision and goals.
  • Engages colleagues with enthusiasm and commitment

Where you’ll live:

  • Anywhere in the US is fine but Atlanta would be preferred.
