About Mixon Digital
Mixon Digital provides the technical and creative expertise to help sports teams turn their vision into visual magic.

We work with pro sports teams, college programs, and broadcasters across the NFL, NBA, MLB, and beyond. When the game is live and the stakes are high, our clients count on us to keep everything running flawlessly. That's where you come in.

The Role

We're looking for a Nightly Software Technical Support Specialist to be the technical lifeline for our clients during live productions. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role — you'll be on the front lines when games are happening, resolving issues in real time so our clients can focus on delivering an exceptional fan experience.

If you thrive in a live environment, love solving problems under pressure, and want your work to show up on scoreboards and broadcast screens across the country, this is your kind of role.

What You'll Do

• Provide real-time technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat during live games — keeping productions running without interruption
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues including installation, configuration, and usage problems quickly and effectively
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues to the appropriate teams when needed
• Document and track client issues and resolutions in our ticketing system — building a knowledge base that makes the whole team stronger
• Collaborate with fellow Support team members and cross-functional departments to resolve complex issues
• Assist in creating and maintaining support documentation and knowledge base articles
• Keep up with the latest DDI software updates, features, and industry developments so you're always one step ahead
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to continuously improve the client experience

Who You Are

• A fast learner. You pick up new tools, platforms, and workflows quickly — and you don't need hand-holding to get there
• Calm under pressure. Live game situations move fast. You stay sharp and focused when it counts
• A clear communicator. You keep clients informed, explain technical issues in plain language, and follow up until things are resolved
• Detail-oriented. You catch things others miss and document your work so the team benefits from every issue you solve
• A team player. You collaborate across Support, Operations, and Development to deliver flawless client experiences

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a technical support role, preferably in a software environment
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
• Basic understanding of A/V technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during evening shifts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid passport (required for future travel opportunities)

Nice to Have

• Background in live sports production or broadcast environments
• Experience supporting real-time data or graphics systems
• Familiarity with live event workflows and venue A/V infrastructure

Schedule

This role starts as a part-time position, requiring 2–3 shifts per week between 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM ET most nights. There may be earlier start times for weekend shifts. Some flexibility may be required to cover holidays, weekends, and high-volume event periods.

This is a growth role. As your skills develop and the team expands, there is a clear path toward additional shifts and a full-time position for the right candidate.

Why Mixon Digital

• Your work shows up on screens in arenas and broadcasts in front of thousands of fans — every shift
• Close-knit, cross-functional team that genuinely cares about doing great work
• Startup energy with real impact — you're not a cog, you're a key part of how we deliver
• A front-row seat (from home) to the intersection of live sports, data, and visual storytelling
