Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) is seeking a Part-Time Product Support Associate to help ensure fans have a seamless experience using our website and apps. As the first point of contact for technical questions and issues, you will monitor the support inbox, provide clear and timely communication, and serve as the bridge between fans and our product/engineering teams. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys problem-solving, and is excited about supporting live sports streaming and digital media products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Monitor the support inbox and respond to fan inquiries promptly and professionally.
● Triage issues and escalate to the appropriate team (engineering, product, content, or digital) with complete details for quick resolution.
● Track open tickets through resolution, keeping fans updated along the way.
● Represent CHSN with a positive, empathetic tone that reinforces our commitment to a fan-first experience.
● Document recurring issues and share insights with product and engineering teams to help improve the platform.
● Help maintain and expand FAQs or internal knowledge bases to make support more efficient.
● Provide inbox coverage during evenings and/or weekends, especially during live games and peak events.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
● 1-3 years prior experience in customer support, help desk, or other client-facing roles (email support experience a plus).
● Strong written communication skills with clear, concise, and professional tone.
● Ability to multitask and manage multiple inquiries under time pressure.
● Familiarity with support tools (Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar) preferred.
● Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable escalating issues and following through to resolution.
● Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support live event coverage.
Compensation: $20/hr
